These cock screws are intented for improving the appearance of India made reproductions of French military muskets of the 1728 and 1746 regulation patterns. Too often the top jaw screw has an incorrect round and pierced heard rather than an elongated pear form; and the tumbler screw has a "bingo token" look rather than a low dome shape.

Our screws are patterned from original parts. The top jaw screw has a correct hand cut V notch. The thread is first cut on the lathe and hand smoothed with a die. Tumbler screw has a straight slot.
